Bo Nickal to Win in Round 1 (-200)

One of the most highly-touted prospects in the MMA world, standout wrestler from Penn State University, Bo Nickal will make his UFC debut against veteran fighter Jamie “The Night Wolf” Pickett. While Pickett is no slouch in the octagon, possessing terrific strength and striking power, he will be no match for the up-and-coming phenom, Nickal.

Having won his first three pro bouts by first round finishes, look for the three-time NCAA Division I wrestling champion to have no trouble bringing his opponent crashing to the canvas, raining down powerful ground and pound strikes as well as using his overwhelming top position pressure to secure a fight ending submission.

Back the budding star, Nickal to pick up his first UFC victory in spectacular fashion, finishing the bout within the first frame of action and scoring you an easy win to kickoff the main card of UFC 285.

Jalin Turner Moneyline (+180)

In what is sure to be a fast-paced and energetic clash between two surging lightweights, back Jalin “The Tarantula” Turner to score the biggest win of his career over Matesuz “Gamer” Gamrot.

After putting the lightweight division on notice with his tantalizing 45-second finish of Brad Riddell in his last outing, Turner is now in a position to vault himself even further up the divisions rankings. While Gamrot has looked exceptional during his UFC career, several holes in his game were put on display in his recent loss to Beneil Dariush.

Turners elite size at 155lbs makes him an immediate mismatch for any opponent he faces, entering with a four-inch advantage in height and reach. Look for Turner to exploit this physical advantage, forcing Gamrot to stay on his back foot throughout the fight, allowing Turner to stay of the offensive and hunt for the finish against his opponent.

Back the underdog Turner to rack up his sixth straight win, not only cementing himself in the top six of the lightweight division but possibly landing him one fight away from a world title shot.

Shavkat Rakhmonov to Win by Submission (+175)

One of the most electrifying talents the UFC has seen in years, Shavkat “Nomad” Rakhmonov is simply put, “the total package”. With four straight finishes in the UFC, the undefeated sensation is poised to add yet another highlight reel win to his already impressive resume at the expense of Geoff “Handz of Steel” Neal.

Neal is a dangerous fighter, having proven himself to be one of the most lethal strikers in the world at 170lbs, but against Rakhmonov he may not get the chance to truly showcase his world-class skillset.

Able to finish fights with his lighting-fast standup or through his boa constrictor like grappling, Rakhmonov can end his opponents night in a hurry in a plethora of ways. With Neal’s lack of wrestling ability, look for Rakhmonov to exploit this weakness, bringing the fight to the ground and finding a choke to shut the lights out for Handz of Steel.

Additionally, for any fans of “MMA Math” Rakhmonov secured an easy submission victory against Neil Magny in his last bout, the same Magny who had previously manhandled Neal for a unanimous decision win. In layman’s terms, Rakhmonov>Magny>Neal.

Back Rakhmonov to earn his fifth consecutive victory in the UFC inside of three rounds, finding the submission victory against Neal in a battle of top 10 welterweights.

Valentina Shevchenko to Win by KO/TKO/DQ (+175)

An all-time great in the world of combat sports will look to add yet another accolade to her already illustrious career, as Valentina “Bullet” Schevchenko looks to defend her women’s flyweight gold against Alexa Grasso.

Coming off the closest bout of her current title reign against Talia Santos, look for Schevchenko to prove a point in this upcoming championship match, making an example out of Grasso to the tune of a vicous knockout victory.

While Grasso has showcased a strong overall skillset that has landed her with wins over tough competition such as Maycee Barber, Joanne Wood, and Viviane Araujo, none of these women hold a candle to the ability of the undisputed champion, Schevchenko.

Having comprised a career full of utter dominance within her division, look for Schevchenko to make quick work of her latest opponent, cementing her status as one of the pound-for-pound best fighters on the planet, and defending her title for an outstanding eighth title defence.

Jon Jones to Win by Unanimous Decision (+180)

It has been a long three years since we have seen him under the bright lights of the UFC, but wait no longer as Jon “Bones” Jones makes his heavyweight debut against former Interim Heavyweight champion Ciryl “Bon Gamin” Gane.

In what will be a thrilling clash of styles, look for Jones to pick up where he left off, winning the main event of the evening in dominant fashion to claim the vacant UFC World Heavyweight title. While the size and striking power of Gane is nothing to turn your nose up at, his painful bad wrestling will be fully exploited by the seasoned veteran Jones from beginning to end in this world title match.

Gane struggled to defend the grappling of Francis Ngannou, a man not partilarly known for his wrestling prowess. Unless he has made major improvements since this bout in his wrestling game, look for Jones to target his opponents weakness, keeping the fight on the ground where he can unleash heavy strikes, easily staying ahead on the scorecards.

While he used to have a reputation as a finisher, the days of knockout artist Jon Jones may be behind him as his last three wins within the UFC all came on the judges scorecards. With questions around how his power may translate moving up a weight class, look for Jones to play it safe, slowing the fight down and maintaining dominant position over Gane for the full 25-minutes of action.

You may not like him, but you have to respect him, back Jon Jones to add another world title victory to his Hall of Fame career, launching himself firmly back into the limelight of the UFC, and providing you with a juicy win to cap off a thrilling evening of UFC action.
