CFL Week 7 Expert ATS Picks & Predictions
Edmonton Elks (+15.5)
After falling to 0-6 to start their 2023 campaign, the Edmonton Elks seem to be chasing history, but not in the way that their fanbase was hoping for. With the 1-17 2003 Hamilton Tiger-Cats within their sights, the Elks are in desperate need of a change to avoid joining these infamous ranks.
Facing off against the a Winnipeg Blue Bombers that collapsed in spectacular fashion to a banged up Ottawa Redblacks squad last week, look for the Elks to play with a new found motivation, staying competitive within this weeks matchup.
The Elks have come incredibly close to capturing wins throughout the season, expect them to stay hungry, and even if they drop the game, the Elks are a great bet to cover a hefty +15.5 point spread.
Toronto Argonauts (-7)
After continuing their dominant ways in Week 6, look for the undefeated Toronto Argonauts to remain perfect as they crush their rivals, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats by seven points or more.
The Argos have been non-stop action on the field this season, sporting an explosive offence that has had little to no trouble scoring against defences this year. Looking to continue their offensive onslaught into Week 7, expect to see the porous defence of the Ti-Cats to be lit up like a Christmas tree as Chad Kelly and company run up the score in a hurry.
Bank on the Argonauts to continue their hot start, improving their record to 5-0, and providing a boost to your bankroll when you bet on them to cover the spread.
BC Lions (-9)
Continuing to demonstrate their strength within the Western Conference, look for the BC Lions to continue building their case as the top Grey Cup contender in the league as they wreck havoc against the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
While the Roughriders have shown stellar potential in glimpses this season, they simply aren’t on the same level as the Lions. After losing their starting quarterback Trevor Harris due to injury during a loss to the Stampeders last week, the Roughriders are set for a tough time putting points on the board in their upcoming clash.
Facing a Lions defence that allows the fewest points against in the CFL, look for the West Coast squad to take the win in this weekends clash, scoring you an easy payday with this point spread pick.
Calgary Stampeders (-5.5)
Riding high off of a hard-earned road victory against the Roughriders, the Calgary Stampeders are in excellent position to make it back-to-back weeks with a win as they go toe-to-toe with the Redblacks.
While both squads managed to squeak out closely-contested wins in their last outings, look for the Stampeders to pull ahead on the scoreboard thanks to their superior depth. With the Redblacks still dealing with an injury-plagued roster, look for the Stampeders to push the tempo as they look to fatigue the depleted core of their opponents.
Bet the Stampeders to cover the spread against the Redblacks, capping off your CFL Week 7 bets with a sizable win.
