NFL Week 6 Picks & Predictions

Moneyline Pick: Jacksonville Jaguars (+115)

In a duel between AFC South teams, the Indianapolis Colts (2-3) are looking to redeem themselves for their Week 2 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars (2-3). While their entire division has struggled out the gate, the Jags and Colts currently sit a game behind the division leading Tennessee Titans.

Our pick to win this matchup comes from the underdog Jaguars. Possessing great value to win this divisional tilt, the Jags have tremendous upside, something they’ve demonstrated throughout the season. Coming off a poor performance against the Houston Texans in Week 5, the Jags are set for a bounce-back performance against the Colts.

In their Week 2 shellacking, even at full-strength the Colts couldn’t compete with the Jaguars. With Trevor Lawrence making big plays downfield and James Robsinson ripping off big runs on the ground, the Colts were on their heels all matchup long as their offence continued to sputter. The Colts have continued to look terrible on offence, so don’t expect the outcome of this matchup to change in their second meeting of the season.

Back the Jaguars moneyline on the road and hit paydirt with this underdog pick.

Point Spread Pick: San Fransisco 49ers (-5)

A complete mismatch of talent, the San Fransisco 49ers (3-2) are set for a major beatdown of the Atlanta Falcons (2-3) in Week 6. The 49ers have looked like Super Bowl contenders so far this season while the Falcons have strung together a bit of success, but have still found themselves on the losing side of things more often than not.

The key to the 49ers success has stemmed from their elite defence. Able to apply ample pressure on opposing quarterbacks, stuff the run, and implement blanket coverage over the top, the 49ers are set to lockdown the Falcons in Mercedes Benz Stadium.

The Falcons are heavily reliant on the run to generate their offence but going up against a 49ers defence that allows the least amount of rushing yards against per game in the NFL, the Falcons are going to be desperate to put points on the board.

After losing their dynamic offensive playmaker Cordarelle Patterson in Week 4, Marcus Mariota and company will have a tough time scratching their way back as Jimmy Garropolo storms his offensive unit down the field and controls the game from start to finish.

Back the 49ers to easily cover the spread against the Falcons and help you win big on the NFL Week 6

Over/Under Pick: Carolina Panthers VS Los Angeles Rams (Under 41.5)

Both teams entered this season with high expectations for their offences, but neither side has had any resemblance of the offensive success had in past seasons. Both the Carolina Panthers and Los Angeles Rams have played well defensively but have still struggled to win games.

Relying on their defences to win them games, this matchup has Under written all over it. At (41.5) the line on the total point spread is fairly low but for good reason. With quarterback Matthew Stafford unable to find receivers not named Cooper Kupp the Rams will have a hard time moving the ball against a strong Panthers secondary.

The Panthers are playing their first game after releasing former-Head Coach Matt Rhule, so with a new game plan and chemistry at an all-time low, the Panthers may not produce at a high clip against a Rams defence that strikes fear into the hearts of the opposition.

Bet smart, bet the Under on this Sunday afternoon matchup between the Panthers and Rams.

Best NFL Player Prop Bets

Zach Wilson Over 221.5 Passing Yards

Since making his return to the field, Zach Wilson has been torching NFL defences and picking up big yardage as he leads his New York Jets squad to victory. Heading into a matchup with a tough Green Bay Packers, look for Wilson to keep on rolling and pass for over 221 yards.

While the Packers are loaded with defensive talent, they haven’t been coached well enough for their stars to shine through. The Packers are poised to capture their fourth win of the season, but will likely give up plenty of passing yards against the Jets.

Ride with Wilson and take the over on the his total passing yards against the Packers.

Eno Benjamin Anytime Touchdown Scorer

Entering into the Arizona Cardinals Week 6 matchup with the Seattle Seahawks, Eno Benjamin could be ready for a breakout performance. Leading the charge out of the backfield last week after James Conner went down with an injury, Benjamin looked comfortable handling the majority of snaps and picked up big time yardage.

Matched up against a Seahawks team that allows the most rushing yards against per game in the NFL, Benjamin is set to put on a show in his first opportunity as RB1 for the Cards.

With plenty of touches coming his way in this Sunday afternoon matchup, bet Benjamin to find the end zone as an anytime touchdown scorer.
