First competed for in 1922, the Hardy Trophy is a staple of the U Sports Conference Championships. With a longstanding history of producing Vanier Cup champions, the Hardy Trophy is awarded to the top team to emerge from the CanWest Conference of U Sports.

The Dunsmore Cup is awarded to the conference champion from the RSEQ. The newest of the U Sports Conference titles, the Dunsmore Cup was established in 1980 after being won by the Ottawa University Gee-Gees as the championship was competed for in a inter-province division at that time.
In recent memory the winners of the Dunsmore Cup have emerged as serious Vanier Cup contenders showcasing the imence growth in skill that the RESQ conference has experienced in the past few seasons. Dating back to 1960, the Jewett Trophy is awarded to the top team in U Sports Football from the AUS Conference. While there hasn’t been much success for AUS teams in the Vanier Cup, the winners of the Jewett Cup are as tough as they come.
With plenty of talent even in the smallest conference in U Sports Football, the Jewett Trophy winners have gone on to have impactful runs for the Vanier Cup, with six total victories, the last coming from the Saint Mary’s Huskies in 2002.
