Monday Night Football Week 6 Picks

Moneyline/Point Spread Pick: Los Angeles Chargers (ML/-4.5)

After a putrid outing in their last matchup, the Denver Broncos are in search of some much needed redemption. Going toe-to-toe with the Los Angeles Chargers is no easy task however. Battling through injuries to key players on both sides of the ball like Joey Bosa and Rashawn Slater, the Chargers have played through adversity and sit with a winning record.

In this matchup the Chargers have the advantage across the board, with an explosive offence, and a menacing defence, the Broncos are going to have their hands full containing the electric players from LA sideline. With the Chargers ability to rip off big plays at a moments notice, look for the Broncos to struggle to keep up with the same offensive firepower and fall behind on the scoreboard as a result.

Until the Broncos can prove they have any resemblance of competence from the sideline or on the field, don’t give them a chance, hammer the Chargers to take the win and cover the thin 4.5 point spread.

Over/Under Pick: Under 45.5 Total Points

The Chargers are set to have a field day against the Broncos defence in this primetime game. A roster filled with speedy players, the Chargers are primed to burn the Broncos slow as molasses defence repeatedly for their fair share of points.

However, most of these speedsters come from the backfield of the Chargers and the Broncos biggest strength comes from their front-seven. The Chargers receiver corps are shorthanded so relying on the rush may equate in a lower than average scoring day.

With the Chargers defence also banged up, the Broncos may have a chance to push the ball down field and score their first touchdown since Week 4 against the Las Vegas Raiders, but as bad as they’ve looked thus far this season, don’t gamble on Russ’s ability to cook.

Don’t take the risk, bet the under on the Broncos VS Chargers and secure the bag on Monday Night Football.

Best Monday Night Football Player Prop Bets

Austin Ekeler Anytime Touchdown Scorer

The workhorse of the Chargers offence, Austin Ekeler is a premier offensive talent in the NFL. Coming off a two touchdown performance against the Cleveland Browns last week, Ekeler has shown no signs of slowing down and is a great look as an anytime touchdown scorer.

Using his elite speed and agility, Broncos players will have a tough time getting a hand on Ekeler, let alone are able to bring him down once he gets a head full of steam. Whether it’s through the air or on the ground, back Ekeler to hit paydirt agains the Broncos.

Russell Wilson Under 1.5 Passing Touchdowns

Playing the worst football of his career, almost every Russell Wilson prop bet could be a viable option as an under but his passing touchdowns are easily the easiest winning bet to make.

With only four passing touchdowns in five games played, that’s the fewest he’s ever thrown through the first five weeks of a season in his 11-year career. There hasn’t been any signs of life shown from Wilson so far this season as the light at the end of the tunnel continues to dim.

Poor passing, poor judgement, and poor results, have plagued Wilsons start with the Broncos and there are no signals of this stopping soon, hammer the under on Wilsons total passing touchdowns.
